I adore everything navy and white, drink way too much coffee, and would wear Lilly Pulitzer every day if I could. I love organization, as my friends can attest to, and probably could not survive life without my agenda! Kiawah Island is my happy place and I dream of someday owning a beachfront home there with lots of blue and white decor.
When not in the library, I enjoy drinking lattes, catching up with friends, taking barre classes, shopping, or watching Gossip Girl or Grey's on Netflix. Whenever I'm home, I nanny for the sweetest little boys and love spending time with my family and our two golden retrievers, Cassie and Kona.
I started Chic in Carolina in March 2015 after falling in love with other blogs and I love having a creative outlet outside of school work. Here on Chic in Carolina, I share everything from outfits to organization to tips and tricks and even the occasional health or recipe post!
I hope y'all love the content that I put out and if you ever have questions, comments, or blog post ideas, let me know! I'll love to hear what you have to say!

DeleteHi Katie! I am a teacher who blogs about fashion and teaching, and I came to this post thinking it was a teacher's (blogging teachers) go back to school post. I was so surprised and impressed to find that it was a blog written by a high school student! Way to go on having such a nice blog at your age! Keep up the great work! And super cute outfits, too! --- Amy @ http://thegiftedgabber.com

DeleteRAIN is nature's symphony, a gentle percussion on rooftops and leaves, bringing life to parched earth. It cleanses the air, rejuvenates rivers, and fills reservoirs. Raindrops dance, reflecting sunlight, creating a shimmering tapestry of hope. It's a reminder of nature's power and our dependence on its precious gift.
