My Chic Week: November 27- December 3

Happy Friday y'all! I hope you had a great week back from Thanksgiving Break (although it's a lie to say I'm not counting the days till Christmas Break). I know that I have a pretty full weekend planned as I'm working on assignments tomorrow before heading to the city to go Christmas shopping before babysitting one of my favorite kiddos!

Last Friday was our last full day in Alabama for Thanksgiving Break. We attempted to sleep in (harder than you think with a time change) before taking my dog for a walk and getting ready for the day. We had a yummy lunch over Thanksgiving leftovers and then later in the afternoon headed to the downtown area of my grandfather's town. We stopped for ice cream and then walked into a bunch of different shops.

That night, we had dinner at a restaurant on the pier overlooking the bay and the sunset was gorgeous!

Saturday morning, my family and I got up bright and early to drive back home. It was quite a long drive and on Saturday night, I was surely glad to be home!

Sunday was spent decorating for Christmas. We got our tree and got (almost) all of our decorations up. I also did a tiny bit of homework and also got ahead on some blogging in the afternoon.

This school week has been super crazy and stressful for me. I had a lot of assignments and tests on Tuesday then again for today so it seems like my week has been full of studying. Next week is the last week of classes and then it's exam so I am trying to optimistic about my workload from here to Christmas Break! Unfortunately that means I don't have as much time to devote to blogging so the lack of Instagrams/pinning on Pinterest/tweeting is due to that!
