My Chic Week: December 8-14
Friday, December 15, 2017
Happy Friday y'all! I'm so excited that it's Friday because once I finish up two exams this morning, I'm officially on Christmas Break and will be headed home! This week was finals at Clemson and was definitely a busy end to my first semester of college!
Last Friday was the last day of class so I had my three classes and, thankfully, my last one let out early just in time for the snow that came down on Friday! One of my friends and I walked downtown so I could get a Christmas gift for someone and then we heading back to our building in the snow.
My big and I went out to dinner on Friday night and it was so fun to catch up with her as she left for Break before I did and to also give each other Christmas gifts! We then hung out on the hall for literally hours making cookies with some of our other sorority sisters.
I wound up sleeping over at the hall on Friday night and we woke up pretty late on Saturday, which was so nice. I then stopped by my dorm to pick up my backpack and then studied at Panera!
Sunday morning, I slept in before catching up on a few things and then studying! Some of my sorority's alumni hosted a study break with lots of homemade goodies, which was so fun to go to! I then went to grab dinner with a few friends and then studied some more!
I didn't have any exams on Monday, which was nice as I was able to sleep in before starting my studying for the day! One of my friends and I camped out in Starbucks for a while before meeting another one of our friends to study for our test in a study room in the education building!
My math exam was at 8 AM on Tuesday morning so I was up bright and early to take that. Thankfully that was my only test of the day so I was able to relax a little with an episode of Grey's before moving on to studying for my next exam!
I only had one exam on Wednesday and it wasn't till the late afternoon so I was able to sleep in before getting some more studying done. One of my friends and I walked over to Starbucks on our way to our Bio exam, which was some much needed caffeine.
After my exam, I pretty much just relaxed and started to get packed up!
I didn't have any exams yesterday so I met one of my friends in the library so I could give her the Christmas gift I got her and then wound up getting some studying done there.
I then went to the dining hall for lunch and wound up running into two of my sorority sisters so I ate with them! Then one of my friends and I camped out in the student center to get some more studying done.
The rest of my afternoon was spent studying (can't wait to be on break haha!), cleaning my room, and then packing everything up!

On my Radar this Week:
1. CHRISTMAS BREAK! I mentioned this earlier in this post but I am honestly so excited to spend some time at home. Christmas is one of my favorite times of the year and I'm so excited for it this year! I absolutely adore Clemson but it's always good to be home (and who doesn't love some time without homework?)
2. Did you hear that Big Little Lies is coming back for a second season? So excited!
3. Obsessed with this top!
4. Love this outfit on Annaliese
5. Lilly just released new arrivals and they are so cute! My favorites are this dress, this sweater, these pants, and this top

My Teeth Whitening Experience with Smile Brilliant

Happy
Thursday y’all! I am so excited to be
sharing today’s post: a fun collaboration with Smile Brilliant. I feel like I’m
not alone in wishing that my teeth were whiter and Smile
Brilliant makes
that wish a reality in such an easy way! Plus, now is the perfect time to start
to get shiny, white teeth for the new year (which I can’t believe is coming up
so quickly!
Some of the “before” shots- can
y’all believe how long my hair was only a few months ago?
Smile
Brilliant was so easy to work with throughout the entire process: you fill out
your dental impressions and then mail them back to them! In around three to
five days, you receive your custom trays in the mail and you can get started!
The trays are completely custom to you so I found that they covered more of my
teeth than a whitening strip you would buy at the store does, which I found to
be a big benefit of using Smile Brilliant!
You fill
the tray with the whitening gel and then wear it for a few hours. I was a
little worried about it making my teeth feel sensitive but they actually didn’t
feel sensitive at all throughout the entire treatment! Smile Brilliant also has
desensitizing syringes that you can use as well to make the process more
comfort. I usually put mine in after showering and while doing my homework or
working on the blog, which made it so easy to incorporate into my daily
routine.
Overall, Smile Brilliant was so easy to use and made such a big difference in the
whiteness of my teeth, which I can’t help but love! Smile Brilliant has given me the discount code "chicincarolina15" to share with y'all for 15% off and I am also giving away a credit for you to purchase a Smile Brilliant set of your own so be sure to enter here!
