One thing that I am honestly awful about during the school year is reading. Back in high school, I took AP English both junior and senior years so those two classes gave me so much reading to do that I was so burned out and didn't feel like reading for fun. I'll occasionally have time in college to read but not a ton so all the reading I want to do gets done in the summer months.
Thankfully college doesn't have the required reading lists of my middle school and high school days but I thought it would be fun to put together a list of books that would be perfect for lazy days at the beach or those afternoons with summer thunderstorms! Now let's see if I get all of these actually checked off of my list haha!

I am reading the Crazy Rich Asians trilogy this summer! The movie comes out in August! Kristy Woodson Harvey, the author of The Secret to Southern Charm, is from the same area of NC that I am from. Crazy!
