Rainy Day Stripes with Charles River Apparel

One of my favorite Christmas gifts last year was a Charles River Rain Jacket with my monogram on it (thanks Mom and Dad!). With college just around the corner (9 days till move in!), I know rain gear is going to definitely come in handy for getting around campus on rainy days and it definitely helps when it's cute.

When Charles River reached out to me about working together, I was so excited as it is a brand I truly love! They kindly sent me this navy and white striped rain jacket and it's too cute! Y'all know I love my navy and white stripes so how perfect is this?

When I think of rain jackets, I definitely think of more laid back looks, especially rain jackets paired with leggings, but I also love it with my go-to Lilly shorts (which I talked about in this post). Here in North Carolina, it isn't really practical to wear a long-sleeved rain jacket with leggings and rain boots so swapping the leggings with shorts makes it a bit more seasonally appropriate!

And on a side note, I know it's not raining in these pictures haha. If it were, I would look like a hot mess haha but I definitely did get some side eye walking to the location we shot these pictures at in a rain jacket and Hunters on a warm summer afternoon :)
