Graduation Recap

Wednesday, June 7, 2017

Happy Wednesday y'all! I took an unexpected mini blogging break yesterday and Monday as I GRADUATED over the weekend! Saturday was the big day and then we had my graduation party on Sunday so I was pretty busy even though it was a ton of fun too! Don't worry as I'm planning on getting back on track with blogging and can't wait to share lots of posts with y'all soon (comment down below with any ideas or email me as well at chicincarolina@gmail.com).

As I mentioned before, Saturday was graduation and, honestly, it was such a bittersweet day. I first caught senioritis my sophomore year so it felt like graduation would never come and even though I'm so excited for my next chapter at Clemson, graduation definitely made me feel emotional about the past four years. I am so blessed to have had a great experience at high school as even though I definitely had my share of both ups and downs, my school has an amazing community around it that I will miss!

Our graduation started at 4 but they had all the seniors arrive at 2 so we could practice and then get ready. We had all of our stuff in the dressing rooms that they use for performances at the theater, which was fun to hang out and do some last minute makeup touchups before walking.

The ceremony itself was very sweet and afterwards, my family and the family I nanny for had dinner at the Capitol Grille in Uptown Charlotte, which was amazing and a great way to end the day. Next stop Clemson!

If you're a senior, have you graduated yet? Let me know in the comments!
