Tips for Surviving the Last Few Weeks of School

Thursday, May 12, 2016

Oh my goodness y'all, we're almost there, we're in the final weeks of school! I have this week, college trips next week, a review week after that, then it's finals then summertime!

As the days left of school dwindle down, I know (for me) it gets harder and harder to focus on school and not on the fact that summer is only ___ days away. If you find yourself in the same boat that I'm in, I've put together some tips to help you survive the final push of the school year (the end of the year is almost here!).

Get Some Beauty Rest
I really need to work on this one but getting a good night's sleep is so important for succeeding through these last few weeks of school!

Utilize Your Agenda
My agenda is seriously my saving grace during the school year.... and exam season may be the most important time to use it! Schedule everything and anything you need to do! Be sure to check out this post to see how I organize my agenda plus tips on organizing your own!

Have "me time"- daily!
I am a major believer in this- no matter how busy your day is, always have a bit of me time! It doesn't matter if it is for 5 minutes or a hour but do something that makes you happy each day whether it is going for a run, doing an at-home spa treatment with a face mask, calling a friend, or indulging in an episode of your favorite series on Netflix!

Organize/Clean for 10 minutes each day
I personally need a clean space in order to be productive and I've found that tidying up 10 minutes everyday is so helpful! Put away laundry, make your bed, put away shoes, throw away trash!

Create a fun playlist
So helpful when you need to boost your mood! If you're looking for a summery country playlist, be sure to check out this post!

Pick a summery background picture for your computer
To give you some summer inspiration! For some ideas, be sure to follow my "inspiration" and "summer" boards on Pinterest!

Good luck to everyone wrapping up their final weeks of classes! You can do it!
