My Chic Week: May 25-31

Friday, June 1, 2018

Happy Friday and Happy National Donut Day (seriously pumped for that one!). We made it to Friday and I hope y'all have some exciting weekend plans ahead!

Every Friday here on Chic in Carolina, I recap my week with y'all and share some real-life snaps! It's such a fun way for y'all to peek into my life and see what I have been up to lately!

On Friday morning, I nannied for a few hours before heading to a Pure Barre class. After my class ended, I grabbed a juice from a nearby juice bar then met my mom to get our nails done!

Later in the afternoon, I met up with one of my besties from high school for coffee. It was so fun to see her and catch up as it had been a while!

My family had some family friends over for dinner on Friday night, which wound up being such a fun time!

I went to an early Pure Barre class on Saturday morning, which was such a great way to kick off my day. Most of Saturday was spent on the lake at our family friends' house, which was a great way to spend time outside before the awful weather hit later on in the weekend, and we had dinner with them as well!

One of my besties from school (and one of my Theta sisters) came to visit on Sunday, which was so much fun! We went out to lunch on the lake with my fam and then went over to our family friend's house and hung out by the lake during the afternoon!

We had awful weather on Monday so we slept in and got ready before going down to the mall to do a little shopping! We hit up what felt like almost every store and I got these jeans that I'm obsessed with!

After shopping, we decided to go to one of my favorite places in Charlotte, Amelies, which is the most incredible bakery! They have the yummiest salted caramel brownies and macarons too! We then headed back to my house for dinner and watched the Bachelorette!

Tuesday morning, I slept in and ate breakfast before saying goodbye to my friend as she headed back home. I went to a Pure Barre class and then nannied in the afternoon.

Wednesday was a pretty typical day as I nannied in the morning and then came back home for a Pure Barre class. I grabbed Chipotle for lunch and then worked on a few things for the blog before heading back to work. I took the kids I nanny to a local museum, which was so fun and a perfect way to get out of the house for a bit. We then grabbed Chick-fil-a for dinner (really healthy day of eating I know!) and headed back to their house.

I have today and yesterday off from work so I wound up sleeping in yesterday morning, which was honestly so nice! I then got up to eat breakfast and then run to Target with my mom. I went to a Pure Empower class, which totally kicked my butt, in the afternoon.

I also made a trip to Michael's to stock up on craft supplies to start crafting for my future sorority little sister. Most girls take a little their second year of being in a sorority so I want to get most of my crafting done over the summer so I have less to do when I get back to Clemson in the fall. I started off by making American letters, which I think came out so well!

Happy Friday!
