My Chic Week October 2-8

Hey y'all and happy Friday! I'm sorry for a bit of a blogging silence this week on Instagram and the late posts that went up today! I have had a crazy busy and stressful week at school so unfortunately I didn't have any time to write new posts or take pictures to post! Thanks for sticking with me around here and hopefully I'll be a lot more active next week! Anyways, let's hop into My Chic Week!

Friday was quite the busy day. It was Mass Day at my school so I had to dress up (which was the perfect excuse to break out my riding boots). After school, I babysat for a little bit before heading back home to start cleaning out my closet and then hang out with my family.

With the rains from the hurricane brought cold temperatures. I was so excited to break out this new sweater from J. Crew Factory along with a few favorites from last season: this J. Crew vest (similar here) and this Lilly scarf (same style here)

Saturday was pretty relaxed as I pretty much just switched over my closet to my fall clothes and organized my room, did homework, and hung out at home. My next-door neighbors just got two puppies, that are absolutely precious, so my family and I definitely went next door a few times to see the puppies!

On Sunday morning, I slept in and then edited an essay that was due at noon. I spent the whole afternoon doing homework and then studying for a Pre-Calc test so nothing too exciting!

Monday through Thursday was quite busy and stressful for me as they were full of tests, meetings, a make up essay, assignments, a college information session, and babysitting. It has definitely been a stressful week for me and I am definitely looking forward to the weekend to unwind a bit and get ahead in homework and what not!

On my Radar:

1. Catch up on what all your favorites on Gossip Girl (other than S and B) have been up to lately in this article from Town and Country.

2. During advisory (my school's version of homeroom) last week, we took this personality test and it is freakily accurate. It is pretty funny because if you google your personality type, you can find how you would be as a parent.

3. I received a preview of the Lilly Pulitzer Resort collection in the mail this week and oh my gosh y'all, it is gorgeous! Definitely start saving your money now!

4. Kate Spade is having a 25% off sale on all sale items. I bought this gorgeous dress for Christmas and I am so excited for it to arrive! The sale ends on the 12th so y'all have plenty of time to shop if interested!

5. I've decided I'm dressing up as Elle Woods for an upcoming Halloween costume party. Any costume ideas?

Be sure to check out my posts from this week:

What have you been up to this week? What is on your radar? Let me know in the comments!

    1. Look up your personality type on google, one site shows how you would be as a spouse and a parent and it's hilarious! I just bought it and I'm so excited for it to come!
