I love bright colors and, of course, I love my Lilly Pulitzer. Even in the middle of winter, you'll probably find me wearing a Lilly Pulitzer Elsa or some other Lilly item that is a bit better suited to the cold weather. Anyways, the fall temperatures are starting to fall here in North Carolina (especially with the hurricane rolling in last weekend) and while I'm not quite (emotionally) ready to pack away all of my shift dresses and shorts and sandals, I have started to transition some of my favorite summer pieces for the start of fall.
I blogged about this Lilly Iona top before during my trip to Upstate New York (read it here) and it's probably one of my favorite tops I own. However the bright pinks and green and yellow definitely scream summer. To transition it a little better, I paired it with dark wash jeans and my Jacks. I didn't show this in any of the picture, but later on that night, I also added a light blue Lilly cardigan (that I adore, seriously Amalie, which is the name of the style, cardigans are amazing and I highly suggest adding one or more to your closet!).

How are you transitioning into fall? Let me know in the comments!
Fall is my favorite season so I might have jumped the gun a bit and dragged out my sweaters and boots a couple of weeks ago! But I'm loving this top and the bracelets. Cute look!

I switched my closet over last weekend! Thank you Ally!
DeleteI love how you were able to make Lilly a tad more fall-appropriate! I love the brand, but the bright colors don't always scream "fall." I love your earrings!

Thanks Tori!
DeleteI never ever want to put my Lilly things away for the winter, *sigh.* I love your outfit though! I was thinking about getting the same top!

Haha same, I'm pretty upset by the fact I probably wouldn't be able to wear my shift dresses until next summer! Thank you, and I highly recommend the Iona, it is super flattering!
DeleteI absolutely love this look! I love the idea of still wearing summer clothes during fall! I just can't seem to put away my summer clothes just yet. And I'm obsessed with those Kendra Scott earrings! ^^insert heart eye emoji
