My Chic Week September 25- October 1

Friday, October 2, 2015

Happy Friday y'all! I am so glad that today is Friday since I have had such a busy week! Since it has been so busy, I haven't been as active on social media and all so I am glad to get back to posting on Instagram and Twitter so just stick with me! I have been pretty busy catching up in my classes from missing three days last week not to mention the rest of my schoolwork!

Friday was our last full day in Alabama so my family and I slept in and grabbed coffee before having breakfast at my grandfather's house. We hung out there for a while before going back to the hotel to get ready for the day. We went out to lunch and then spent the afternoon by the pool. After a few hours poolside (and a yummy Piña Colada), we went back to our rooms to get ready for dinner at my grandfather's. We had fajitas for dinner and then went back to the hotel to head to bed!

A behind-the-scenes shot from Tuesday's outfit post! My brother snapped this and I thought it was too pretty not to share!

Saturday morning, my family and I got up bright and early to head back home! It was quite a long drive, not to mention rainy and gross, so I was very glad when we got home (even though I had to go edit an essay). On Sunday, I babysat all day for the cutest little kid. Unfortunately, I don't have a lot of pictures from the weekend since I was either in the car, babysitting, or studying!

Monday was quite the busy day as I had to get caught up in all of my classes and also had a lot of homework! I had Faith Formation after school, which I love having on Mondays since being around kids is a perfect way to get into a better mood (at least for me)!

Tuesday was full of more make up quizzes, a test, and more studying! After school, I had a meeting with the admissions counselor of one of the colleges I'm looking into so that was very exciting! After my meeting, I came home, ate a quick dinner, then did some more homework and studied (sense a trend here?).

Wednesday and Thursday were full of makeup tests, homework, college visits in school, more homework, and babysitting! Nothing all that exciting that y'all probably want to hear about in detail!

On my radar:

1. Hurricane Joaquin, the weather here in Charlotte has been awful (Wednesday was the only sunny day all week) and they are forecasting 10 inches of rain this weekend!

3. This post from Cathleen on the daily thoughts of a high schooler seriously made me laugh so hard!

4. Tory Burch is currently having their fall event with savings of 20% off a purchase of $300, 25% off a purchase of $500, and 30% off a purchase of $750. Reva flats and Miller sandals are not included in the sale, but it is the perfect time to buy Riding Boots!

5. Love this post from Frannie on Appreciation

Be sure to check out my posts from the week:

What have you been up to this week? What is on your radar? Let me know in the comments!
