Last Friday, I had the day off of school so my mom, siblings, and I headed down to Greenville, South Carolina to tour Furman University. I've been wanting to tour Furman for a while and even though the weather wasn't the best, I was so happy to tour there and campus truly is as gorgeous as it looks, even on a rainy gross day!
After the tour ended, we were all pretty hungry so we headed to downtown Greenville to grab lunch at Grill Marks. The burgers there were amazing and my brother and sister got milkshakes, which looked great as well!
After finishing lunch, we grabbed some cupcakes at a cute bakery called the Chocolate Moose before heading back home!
I was pretty exhausted after getting home and eating dinner so I went to bed extremely early so I could catch up on some sleep!
I am a member of the Service Committee at my school so Saturday morning, I went to the event I had planned at a local charity to go sort through and organize clothing. I spent the afternoon reading for two of my classes before going to Saturday night Mass with my mom and sister as my dad and brother were at my brother's soccer tournament.
Sunday was very relaxed as I slept in and then got ahead on some homework for the rest of the day!
Monday was quite the busy day for me! After school, I had my ring ceremony, where my high school class and I were given our class rings (it is a tradition at my school to do this in the fall of junior year). Since the ceremony was right after school, we were allowed to dress up for the occasion so I wore this dress that I have honestly worn so many times this month (shown by the fact I'm wearing it twice in this one post!). My day during school was a bit crazy as I had two quizzes and realized a lot of work I have to do for my AP United States History class.
I felt like Tuesday was constantly go, go, go as I had a lot of assignments to work on that day, National Honor Society tutoring during lunch, and then SAT prep after school! However, it was our first day with sunshine in almost two weeks so that made my day a bit better!
Wednesday was full of test review, NHS tutoring, and a biology project! I had the afternoon free, which was nice because I was able to prep for my APUSH test all afternoon! On Thursday, I had a APUSH test in the morning and a meeting during lunch. After school, I worked on a few assignments for my APUSH class and then studied for a Pre Calculus test (wish me luck!).
On my Radar:
1. The weekend! After having two major tests in the past two days, I'm looking forward to sleeping in and relaxing this weekend!
