Lake/Pool/Beach Necessities

As summer gets closer and closer, I can't help but think ahead to warm and sunny days spent by the water (instead of inside working on homework). Growing up, all of my family vacations have involved water (going to the beach or my family's lake house in Upstate New York). Over time, I have learned what you absolutely need to bring with you and I am sharing them with y'all today!

Cute Bikini- Self explanatory and it is a definite perk if it is cute! I have this bikini from Lilly Pulitzer from a few summers ago in the original Let's Cha Cha print and it is one of my favorites! The current Scuba to Cuba print is adorable!

Coverup- Perfect for throwing on before or after! This coverup is too cute and is under 20 dollars!

Towel- Towels are always needed when around water. Bonus points for a fun print and a monogram so it is easy to spot!

Totebag- Y'all probably know that I am a sucker for a cute, functional tote! Perfect for holding everything you need in!

Flip-flops- Being by the water, you want a pair of shoes that can, well, get wet. I love the look of Jacks on the beach but we all know that it isn't the most practical look!

Sunglasses- Sunglasses are a must for sunny summer days! Just be careful not to get "raccoon eyes" (tan lines around your eyes from your sunglasses)!
