Be Prepared- Bring everything that you need! Sharpen your pencils (or have extra lead if you use mechanical pencils). Bring extra loose-leaf paper (just in case). Charge your calculator (if it is a math or science exam). Make sure you have everything that you need so that way you are not running around like a crazy person the second before the exam begins trying to find a pencil!
Get Plenty of Rest- Make sure to get a good amount of sleep the night before (aka don't stay up too late studying!) because you don't want to be exhausted during the test.
Eat a Good Breakfast- I get hungry so easily so on exam days I make sure to eat a good breakfast for fuel and so my stomach doesn't grumble during the test!
Bring a Snack- My school has one exam, a 30 minute break, and then the next exam. I always bring a snack so I don't get overly hungry!
Drink Lots of Water- Hydration is Key! Bring a cup with you to take into the exam room! I know that if I don't have water, I get really thirsty which is a distraction you can easily prevent!
Don't Worry (too much!)- It's perfectly okay to be nervous! I know that I am most nervous before my first exam but then I calm down a bit for my other exams! Just remember that it will all be over before you know it!
Treat Yourself (after the Exam)- You made it! When you get home, reward yourself (have a sweet treat, do a little online shopping, paint your nails, go for a walk, watch an episode of Netflix)! If you have an exam the next day, don't reward yourself too long so you can study for your next exam!
