My Chic Week: July 31- August 6

Wow, this week has been super busy and because of that I don't really have a lot of pictures to share with y'all today!

Last Friday was the last day of my vacation to Upstate New York so we spent it by packing up and then hanging up by the lake!

I know this isn't the best picture but my mom snapped this after what felt like my million mile long paddle-boarding. I took my cousin over to jump off the rocks that is pretty far from the beach and on the way back, there was some crazy winds so it took a lot longer than expected! Not to mention, my uncle tried to lift the top of the board when I was coming back in (not cool!). But also in this picture, you can see the newest addition to our lake house: The Aqua Lily Pad which is gigantic and can hold a lot of weight!

 

We headed back to the house for a pretty relaxed night with some Chinese take out. This was the sunset that night (the lake has the most gorgeous sunsets as the sun actually sets behind the mountains!).

Saturday morning we got up bright and early to make the super long drive back home. I watched a lot of Netflix, including several episodes of my current binge-watch One Tree Hill and then a few of my favorite episodes of Gossip Girl (my all-time favorite!). We stopped at Chick-fil-a for dinner (which re-affirmed that I cannot move up north ever) before arriving home. Sunday, I slept in and unpacked. I ran some errands and also caught up on some blogging!

All week, I have been nannying for the family I typically babysit for. So my week has largely consisted of pool time, going to the library, playing the board game Life, and watching ALL of the Spy Kids movies! So, I don't really have any pictures from nannying since we have been so busy!

Tuesday night though, after nannying, one of my best friends and I went out to dinner at a local barbecue place. The food was amazing and it was fun to catch up with her before the school year started!
