My Chic Week: June 10-16

Friday, June 17, 2016

Happy Friday y'all! I am so excited to have a Saturday where I don't have to wake up early to go take a standardized test...instead I'll be hanging out on the lake today after my Pure Barre class and then going to Pure Barre again tomorrow and then having dinner with our neighbors! And Father's Day is on Sunday! Hopefully, I'll be spending a lot of time poolside, I need to work on my tan before I leave for Hawaii in two weeks :)

Friday I had the day off of work so I slept in, which was absolutely amazing! I worked on blog stuff all morning before going to Pure Barre in the afternoon. The rest of the day was pretty relaxed as I got some stuff done at home and then enjoyed a pizza dinner with the fam as well as prepping for the ACT for a bit.

Saturday morning, I was up bright and early to go and take the ACT. Unfortunately, the ACT wasn't offered anywhere in my area so I had to drive 30 minutes away to take it. It went a lot quicker than expected and I was so glad to spend the rest of the afternoon relaxing before going to church.

Sunday was super relaxed as I slept in and just chilled out all day. I spent the afternoon by the pool, which is always a good way to spent the afternoon in my book.

On Monday, I nannied in the morning, which meant I got up bright and early. I'm planning on putting together a "Day in the Life" post for y'all next week so be on lookout for that! On the way to drop off the boy I nanny at his preschool, we grabbed Chick-fil-a for breakfast for him (I ate before work) and I will never complain about getting an iced coffee. After work, I headed back home and worked on some blog stuff and ate a snack. Then it was time for my noon Pure Barre class (be sure to check out my post about My First Pure Barre Class Experience). After Pure Barre, I spent the afternoon blogging and getting a few things knocked off of my to do list!

On Tuesday, I nannied in the morning before grabbing Chick-fil-a for lunch. Then I headed over to my blogging friend Annaliese's apartment where we hung out by her pool for a bit. We had such a great time catching up and it was also so much fun going to Nordstrom Rack together where I found some amazing deals that I can't wait to style for y'all on the blog soon!

This Vineyard Vines number is one of the pieces I tried on at Nordstrom Rack. I didn't wind up bringing it home with me but I did bring home a Vineyard Vines Cashmere Sweater (for $25) along with two pairs of shoes!

I also nannied in the afternoon so afterwards I just he
aded home and hung out for a bit and watched Chopped with the fam.

I worked in the afternoon on Wednesday, which was really nice because I was able to sleep and enjoy a leisurely morning. I've gotten into a good routine of heading to Pure Barre classes on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, which I have been loving! It was pretty stormy Wednesday afternoon/night but it was fun just to watch a movie with the kid I nanny and then just to relax at home after work.

On Thursdays, I nanny in both the morning and the afternoon but in between, I decided to head over to Southpark, a mall here in Charlotte. This mall is my absolute favorite and it is always nice to just shop at all of my favorite stores.

My OOTD- top, sandals, watch (the other pieces are older!)

I've been so excited to stop into Lilly since they just released a new pop up print in one of their classics- You Gotta Regatta. Well it surely didn't disappoint and I left Lilly with the shorts in You Gotta Regatta along with this top and my new agenda. And please excuse my faces in some of these pictures, I have no idea why I look so grumpy but I wanted to show y'all what the pieces look like on!

While I was in Lilly, I wound up buying my agenda for my last year of high school (eek!) and picked the Jumbo in Southern Charm! In love!

On my Radar this week:
