One of the hardest parts of Thanksgiving for me is deciding what to wear. My family is very casual for Thanksgiving as we hang out all day and then enjoy dinner in the afternoon. I adore dressing up, which makes Thanksgiving a bit difficult haha! I typically wind up wearing a comfy dress (you definitely don't want anything too constricting on Thanksgiving) or jeans and a nice top (like this outfit).
I haven't decided exactly what I will be wearing this year but decided to help y'all out if you're in the same boat as I am by putting a few outfits that would be perfect for Thanksgiving but also work for a few different occasions (like a casual dinner like my family's or something a bit more formal).
This outfit is perfect for more casual Thanksgivings. I love how "fall" this outfit is and also how cute yet comfy it would be, making it perfect for Thanksgiving!
If your Thanksgiving is a bit more of a formal affair, this outfit is perfect for you. I'm obsessed with this Sail to Sable dress from Tuckernuck as it is so gorgeous and versatile. Even though the dress is a bit of a splurge, the heels are currently on sale for 40% off and the necklace is from J. Crew Factory making this outfit a bit more budget friendly.
Even though I said casual for the description, this outfit is perfect for Thanksgiving that are in between casual and formal. I bought this dress last weekend (more on that in Friday's post) and it is so flattering! Paired with riding boots (that are on sale) and a Kendra Scott necklace, it is perfect for Thanksgiving!
What are you wearing for Thanksgiving? Let me know in the comments!
Usually my Thanksgivings are pretty casual as well. I usually wear a comfy cotton dress!
