September Favorites

Thursday, October 5, 2017

A post I always love to share with y'all each month is my monthly favorites. I always feel like writing them signals "Hey, it's actually a new month" (I mean how on earth is it already October?) and it's also fun to look back at some of the things I loved that month.

September was a busy month as it was my first full month at Clemson and I think I have definitely settled into a routine of sorts. My college schedule (which I'll be sharing next week on the blog) is a bit more all over the place than my high school schedule as it is a bit less scheduled and changes by the day. My favorites kind of reflect this as they're items that I have relied on in adjusting to my new schedule.

Tuckernuck Black Dress- I am planning on doing an outfit post featuring this gorgeous dress but I couldn't help but share it here with y'all too. I love how chic and classic it is- I mean look at the bow! It also comes in a fun coral color, which I love too! I wore it for my sorority semi-formal this month and I'm planning on wearing it for Christmas too. It's also quite a deal for how great the quality it is!

Caramel Almond Pumpkin Spice KIND Bars- I love granola bars (I seriously brought a box of 100 with me to college) but these are seriously the best. I discovered these last year and my mom is the absolute sweetest and found them in Target and brought them with her to family weekend.

Papaw Ointment- This may be my weirdest favorite this month but my lips have been super chapped lately so this has definitely come in handy. My family has sworn by Papaw for years after family friends found it on a trip to Australia (it's an Australian brand) and it's amazing for chapped lips!

Bare Minerals Powder Foundation- I honestly don't wear a ton of makeup most days while out and about on campus but I typically do wear this foundation with a little mascara just so I don't look like I just rolled out of bed. It looks good on its own as well as with concealer and liquid foundation underneath and makes you look a bit more polished.

Weekly Organizer- I still swear by my Day Designer agenda but this weekly organizer that I found at HomeGoods over the summer is great for seeing my week as a whole (one draw back of the Day Designer). I write my to-dos for each day as well as things going on like meetings or tests.

Lululemon Align Pants- Definitely not the first time I've talked about how amazing these are and definitely not the last. It's finally starting to cool down a bit here in South Carolina so I've been reaching for these for chilly morning walks to class. They're so flattering on and super comfortable too!
