Last Monday, I shared with y'all how I organized my Lilly Pulitzer agenda that I use for school and my social life (missed it? read it here!). Honestly until this school year, I didn't use a agenda for blogging (I just used Google Calendar) but after seeing Dorothy's Lilly Pulitzer vs. Day Designer video, I headed right over to my local Target to pick up an agenda from their collaboration with Day Designer. My Target was all sold out of the larger size so I picked up the smaller size, which wound up being the perfect size for keeping track of all of my blogging.
I picked up the small blue agenda (which is under $10!) and it is so cute!
This is the first page of the agenda and I think the stripes are such a cute touch! The next page also shares Whitney English's story of creating her agendas!
This is the monthly view. Compared to the Lilly agenda, the page is a lot more streamlined and also has lines on the space for each date. I simply write down the name of each post and I have it color coded as you can see from the top where I explain that pink= my chic week, purple= outfit post, light blue= recipes, green= fashion, dark blue= life, orange= blogging, and red is for my posts for Our Campus Media!
The weekly view of the Day Designer is very simple as well. I love the built in to do lists and the space on the top for each week's top three!
A more close up look of the weekly view. I simply write the post for the day in the color for the category it belongs in from the monthly view. I have a check list for scheduling the post, instagramming that day, tweeting the link (which Bloglovin does for me now, be sure to follow me on Bloglovin here!), pinning the link (follow me here!), and any other tasks for that day's post, such as taking pictures.
The last few pages of the agenda are notes which I am currently using to write down post ideas for each month. Have any post ideas? Let me know in the comments!
Hope y'all enjoyed this peek into my Day Designer agenda that I use for blogging and be sure to leave any posts requests in the comments!
