The BEST Brownies

Wednesday, January 27, 2016

Over the weekend, I was determined to make a recipe for Salted Caramel Brownies that I found on Pinterest (follow me here). Unfortunately, they turned out quite disastrously so I decided to make my favorite brownie recipe that is from a Southern Living Cookbook.

These brownies are amazing and are actually quite easy to make! After trying these, I think it is so hard to turn back to boxed brownies!

Butter, Unsweetened Chocolate Baking Squares, Eggs, Sugar, Flour, Salt, Vanilla

Instructions
1. Microwave butter and chocolate squares in a microwave safe bowl for 2 minutes or until both are melted, stirring mixture once

2. Beat eggs at medium speed with an electric mixer; gradually add sugar, beating well
3. Add flour, salt, and vanilla, beating well
4. Stir in chocolate mixture
5. Pour batter into a lightly greased 13 by 9 inch pan
6. Bake at 325 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes
7. Cool in pan on a wire rack
