My Chic Week: August 17-23

Friday, August 24, 2018

Happy FriYAY y'all! From recruitment finishing up earlier in the week to Bid Day on Sunday to classes starting on Wednesday, this week has been an absolute whirlwind. I love getting a little more settled in my schedule and have been loving having extra time to spend with friends as well as seeing all of my friends after a summer away!

Last Friday and Saturday was still recruitment with Sisterhood Round on Friday and Preference on Saturday. At this point in the week, my voice was pretty much gone so it was so exciting to get to the last party of preference round. I hung out in my dorm for a bit and then Rachel, Olivia, and I wound up going to Panera for lunch and then to Party City and Target to prepare for Bid Day!

Sunday was the day everybody was waiting for...Bid Day! I'll be sharing a recap later this week as I have so many pictures from it!

We had Monday and Tuesday free as classes started on Wednesday, which was really nice as I was able to sleep in and get some stuff done as well! We had our pledging service for our new members on Monday and I was able to be productive and get my life organized before the start of the semester!

Wednesday was the First Day of Class here in Clemson and I only had one class that started at 11, which was really nice as I was able to get some stuff done before going to class. My big and I went out to lunch earlier and it was fun being able to catch up with her. I had to go pick up a package at the mailroom and then my roomie Rachel and I took a FDOC picture!

my fdoc outfit: topjean shorts (on sale!) ⎢sandals

My afternoon was pretty chill as I pretty much set up my agenda for the semester and then later on, we had a little game night on the hall, which was so fun!

Elementary Education at Clemson does this fun thing where we have 90% of our classes scheduled on Tuesday and Thursday, which makes for a busy day as I have class from 8 AM- 4:45 PM with a break for my lab in there. It was so fun though seeing all of my Elementary Ed girls as we all have our classes together!

Happy Friday!
