Since it's been a while since my last post, I figured that I would share a My Chic Week post with y'all to update y'all on what's been going on!
I last left y'all in the midst of exam week at Clemson and that Friday (December 15...which feels like forever ago!) was my last day of exams. I had two exams in the morning and then I was on the road to head home for Break!
Saturday morning, I went to barre for my first class since Thanksgiving and then caught up some blog work. I then nannied that night!
My family and I went to the early morning Mass that Sunday and then I spent the rest of the day nannying!
On Monday, I nannied in the morning and took the kiddos to get donuts on our drive to school. I had an errand to run afterwards and then picked up Chick-fil-a to bring to my siblings who still had school that day. I then volunteered in the library at the elementary school I went to, which was a lot of un, before nannying in the afternoon!
I nannied in the morning on Tuesday and then went to a barre class in the afternoon! My mom and I got our nails done before I nannied again in the afternoon. I took the kids I nanny to Starbucks that afternoon to get cake pops for them and a Peppermint mocha for me.
I nannied in the morning on Wednesday and then had a doctor's appointment afterwards. Since I was in the city, I stopped at Dean & Deluca for lunch and then went to the mall to do some last minute Christmas shopping. I worked on the blog for a bit in the afternoon and then picked up the kids I nanny from school.
Thursday was another busy day of nannying and going to Pure Barre!
I had the day off on Friday so I slept in and then went to barre. After barre, I met up with my family to go out to lunch at one of our favorite restaurants, which was so yummy!
Friday was our big cookie decorating day in preparation for Christmas so we spent most of the afternoon baking and decorating, which was so fun!
On Saturday, I went to barre in the morning and then had a few errands to run afterwards.
My family has a Christmas party each year so most of the day was dedicated to preparing for the party on Saturday night. It was a lot of fun to see family friends I haven't seen in a while and one of my besties was also able to stop by for a bit!
Sunday was Christmas Eve so there was a lot of last minute present wrapping and then my entire family and I went to Christmas Eve Mass. We always have spaghetti on Christmas Eve after Mass and then watch Christmas movies!
I slept in on Christmas morning before heading downstairs and opening presents with my family. We always do presents first thing and then spend the rest of the morning eating breakfast and hanging out.
Christmas was pretty laid back, which was nice as we pretty much ate and watched A Christmas Story all day! We had Christmas dinner, which is always good, and then dessert, which is even better!
Happy Monday and Happy New Year!
