Chic in Carolina: A Summer Dress Perfect for Your Beach Vacation

While in Chicago last month, my dad and I popped into Vineyard Vines and I wound up trying on and loving this casual dress that is just perfect for summer! I knew it would be perfect for graduation parties and for my family's beach trip to Kiawah Island that is this weekend (!!!). Plus it has the cutest detailing- who can say no to flutter sleeves and tassels?

My little sister graduated from middle school last week (which you can read about in Monday's My Chic Week post) and I decided to wear this dress as it is chic yet casual and gives off such a summery vibe. I decided to keep my accessories simple with my favorite monogram necklace and the pearl studs my grandparents gave me for graduation to continue the laid-back, chic look. In addition to my sister's graduation, I know this dress will be worn so much this summer from this weekend's beach trip to Church to brunch as it is so cute and I love that it's on the looser side, which gives it a beachy feel!
