As I mentioned before, Saturday was graduation and, honestly, it was such a bittersweet day. I first caught senioritis my sophomore year so it felt like graduation would never come and even though I'm so excited for my next chapter at Clemson, graduation definitely made me feel emotional about the past four years. I am so blessed to have had a great experience at high school as even though I definitely had my share of both ups and downs, my school has an amazing community around it that I will miss!
Our graduation started at 4 but they had all the seniors arrive at 2 so we could practice and then get ready. We had all of our stuff in the dressing rooms that they use for performances at the theater, which was fun to hang out and do some last minute makeup touchups before walking.
The ceremony itself was very sweet and afterwards, my family and the family I nanny for had dinner at the Capitol Grille in Uptown Charlotte, which was amazing and a great way to end the day. Next stop Clemson!
If you're a senior, have you graduated yet? Let me know in the comments!
Congratulations on your graduation!! I still remember my high school graduation so clearly- it definitely is a special accomplishment to be very proud of! And now you're onto big things in the fall at Clemson!
